A Better Perpective

Many of you have heard of this remarkable women. Although I have not listened to her or heard much of her story one thing keeps popping back into my head that she said, "I am not my body".

I finally cracked and checked it out. What I found was an inspirational women of love and courage. I am so thankful that I have the oppurtunity to be with and raise my children and be apart of the wonderful family that I have along side Mr. Philpott. And remember that I am not my body, Thank you Stephanie.

I shared this with my 4-year old daughter, who like most little girls is very concerned with being "pretty". This is the reason she cut her own hair and this is the reason she gets upset every few days, because now her hair is not "pretty" and long. I explained what happened when your skin gets burned. She was very curious to see. When I asked her if she thought this lady was beautifull she said "Yes". Thank you Stephanie.

Independence Day - Clovis

I have always loved the fourth of July, I think it is the magic and romance of the fireworks. I miss fireworks, we don't have them here and there isn't anywhere to drive to either really for a firework show, at least not with little kids, just not happening so when our family invited us out for the 4th I was mostly excited about getting to see some fireworks. We had so much fun that by the time it was time for fireworks I was too exhausted to go, but we did watch them over the roof tops.

Hawaii

This year I started the summer out right with a little trip to Hawaii with my sweet baby Claire. I had a great time with some of my sisters and mom, so that was fun. My other kids did not have a very good time with mom gone for so long.

So I realized why I get overwhelmed sometimes, it is because I try to do so much, and yet I can't stop myself. There is just so much I want to do or maybe I just have ADD. Little Claire

Claire was born on 1/11/11, 5 weeks early. She weighed a whopping 4 lbs 13 oz. Thankfully she did decided to come early, there was a knot in the cord and the doc said she would not of made it another two days.
She is a strong little girl and was out of intensive care by that evening. Unfortunatly had to spend the next 3 days under the lights to help her jaundice. We were able to go home friday, but unfortunatly had to go back to the hospital again from tuesday to friday. She is doing good now and it appears the jaundice is out of her system. She is our little miracle baby and we are so happy to have her!!! Thanks to everyone for your love, support, and prayers.

Living the Dream

I have many dreams, many things I want to do and try to be in the process of all the time. But I am very lucky that the best dream of all is something that I get to actually do everyday, it's being a mom.
I get to wake up to one amazing little boy every morning, even if it is to crying, at least he is happy to see me, and the sweetest little girl who's first words each day is for some milk. And then we get to spend the entire day together. I wish I had the same oppurtunity with my husband, but at least we get to sleep together..he he he.

Yeah for Bitner

This is the sweet sled mom pulls throught the snow. It's good excercise but I don't last very long,

But neither did Bitty.

Paxton had a blast

One night we had a bad wind storm, it blew over two huge cotton trees,

and a whirlwind touched down and tour up our sweet goat shed.

Febuary
Paxton feel in love with finger, hand, and foot painting

Paxton turned 2 year old and fell in love with birthday cakes!

May
Paxtone and her Aunt Brittani planting flowers.

Paxton and her very pregnant mommy also took a trip to Utah to see Camilia off to the Prom.

June

We were very excited to welcome Bitner into our family.

Paxton is a wonderful big sister and loves her little brother very much.

July

We found these kids in our local mud pool. If anyone is looking for them let me know. Looks like the girl is about to get her revenge though.

August

We took a trip out to Utah and spent a day at the Hogle Zoo

The train ride was a big hit, we all rode it twice

Sabrina had a birthday, we won't say which one.

This is the visitor I almost ran into has I was driving home one day, I thought it was a cow, it ran right in front of us across our dirt road and behind our house. It hung out in this tree all day one day, and ate all the corn from our garden one night. "well, I love corn" says Paxton.
